Harper Nicole Daughtry

We celebrated our first official Mother’s Day this past weekend.  Last year at this time we have pictures of snow in our backyard!
Harper is changing everyday and it’s hard to keep up with posting current pictures…..a picture taken an hour ago is almost outdated.  She likes to grab things and put them in her mouth.  [...]

Being a parent means poop.  As in….there’s lots of it.  And we laugh at it, celebrate it, applaude it, and fear it.  It’s always there….waiting to make a story.

Harper’s Aunts came up for a great visit in the middle of March.  She even got to stay with them while Mom and Dad had a dinner date for Mom’s birthday.

Harper is one month old! Hard to imagine that just four weeks ago we were in the hospital getting to know the little one.  She had her one month check up today with her doctor.  She’s a very healthy girl and now weighs in at 10lbs and 5 oz.!  She grew to 21 inches long….give [...]

All is well with the Daughtry clan.  Harper is happy and healthy in her new home.  The dogs are only slightly amused by her.  Mama and Daddy are staying close by her side to make sure she gets everything she needs.  Nana Daughtry comes to town tomorrow to help and Nana Haigler comes the week [...]
